PRINCIPAL ADVISOR

Dr. Michael Haas, MSc(Econ)

A deeply experienced strategic thinker and well-versed negotiator, Michael has been advising senior decision-makers in the D/A/CH region and beyond since 2012.

Michael started Lynkis Farsight after a varied career that took him from the tense atmosphere of backchannel diplomacy in the Middle East to briefing senior decision-makers on global strategic trends, to advising armed forces and procurement agencies on new technologies and complex projects, to working with mid-market companies and deep tech startups. A veteran of many a negotiation round, boardroom briefing, ministry debate, expert panel, and parliamentary commission, he can confidently hold his own in any situation.

Never one to shy away from complex engagements or tricky negotiations, Michael belongs to a new breed of 21st century dealmakers: tough, analytical, and pragmatic but also deeply empathetic in dealing with his clients’ concerns and attuned to the sensitivities of his opposite numbers.
